Daryl Potter is driven with a desire to help people, and this led him to a career in nursing. As a nurse, he learned the art of caring for, comforting, and nurturing those who are suffering. He has worked in various areas of nursing including medical, surgical, telemetry, post anesthesia care, post-partum, newborn nursery, ICU, cardiothoracic ICU, and ER. As a nurse practitioner, he bravely jumped right into pain management, and brought with him the art of caring and nurturing that he learned by working with such a varied clientele.
Daryl has learned the value of using a comprehensive approach to treat pain. By prescribing physical therapy, aquatherapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, interventional procedures, TENS, bracing, and proper medication. Daryl helps his patients achieve relief and reduce dependency on high-risk medication. He has followed his belief in life long learning by pursuing his education while working full-time and raising his family. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in nursing from Mesa Community College, a Baccalaureate in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, and a Master of Science in nursing with a focus in family practice from Grand Canyon University.
He loves children and family. He and his wife both come from large families, and they have several children who greatly enrich their lives. In his free time, he enjoys participating in activities with his family, gardening, cooking, camping, and hiking.
